On Wednesday, 12th of November, Helmut did the try-out concert for his 'Time to Swing' tour in the American Theatre in Brussels. The organisation was in the hands of Radio 2 and Helmut's management. American Ambassador, Mr. Fox, was guest of honour and opened the evening with a speech about the friendship bond between Belgium and the United States. After a short documentary on this subject, Helmut started his first real 'Time to Swing' concert and gave his very best. The audience, which consisted of Radio 2 listeners, besides the American Ambassador and other VIP guests, enjoyed a swinging evening!
